When i try to go on to the Android Market on my phone it comes up 'A network error has occured Retry or cancel and reutn to the previous screen'. I have already tried disconnecting and reconnecting the internet and turning the phone off and on

You need to go into Settings - Network & Wireless - APN and remove Proxy and Port numbers.

That doesnt work when i delete the number a few minutes later they're back

I am guessing but do you have to save your progress when you remove the settings?

If it is still working delete the lot of them and make a new set of settings.

Yeah i saved the settings after i deleted the numbers. How will i make new settings?

Just remove the proxy and port and leave them blank then test the Market.

I don't know how it's bringing you to gsmarena unless you are clicking on that link in the article. You need to follow the instructions for Android.

Can you not See the settings for Android?

I filled in the settings that were there for the Android but there was nothing there for MMS proxy and APN type which are in the settings on my phone

I deleted the whole APN thing and made a new one with the settings on that link i was sent, saved them, turned the phone off and then on and its still not working

Does it work when connected via WiFi?

Ok once you have deleted the proxy and post settings, the next test is to connect to WiFi and disconnect then test the market. Once you get to a WiFi area can you check this.

I dont know when im going to be able to get to one :-/ And every time i need to go on android market i wont be able to get to a wifi spot

You only need to connect to wifi once to solve the problem.

Right ok well i'll try and find a wifi spot and see if it works
