i can't get internet on ipad in uk. i have irish micro sim..help?

Hi,

I have now enabled data romaing on your Irish sim card. Turn the ipad off and on for me.It is €5.04 per mb data roaming.

did that, but still "safarai can not open the page, no network connection" i must be doing something wrong? thanks for help

Is there any service showing up on the ipad, what network are you connected to?

Do you have Data Roaming turned ON?
Do you have credit?

As BJ, can you check data roaming is enabled on the ipad, go to settings, general, network

I can see you have €20 credit

Try this:

Settings > General > Reset > Reset Netork Settings

Then Power off and on

sorted, well done and thanks. one last question...i have €19.90 plan/month prepay, if i use internet for email or sports results etc, what type of cost/usage would that be?

It will take €5.04 out of your credit for each mb you use. The prepay data bundles will not work abroad

On a computer or laptop, a mb could be opening a sinlge internet page. Its very expensive for broadband when roaming

Personally, I would never use data whilst roaming, unless you don't care about money of course. In the UK you can get 500Mb of Data per month for £5 from giffgaff. giffgaff uses the O2 network for data. If you want a sim pm me and I'll send you a link to order a sim with free £5 top after you top up with £10.
