Can I opt out of the 9.99 per month data add on. I don't really use internet on my phone and would rather have my credit for calls.

Just text CANCEL to 50231 to opt out, without the data add on, if you connect to the internet, there is a €1 daily charge for 50mb

Ok I've just done that. The reply I got said Add-on will expire on 04/02/12.  The usual text I get about taking the 9.99 from my account was received today, so will the add-on be cancelled before the money is deducted?

Yes once you text CANCEL it will cancel and will not apply again
