Battery Draining Quicky after 1.4 update | Monopoly

Still having the same issue. It's only after the 1.4 update and the installation of Monopoly.

The monopoly game was advertised through an email from Palm to me. Once I have this installed the battery drains very quickly once it gets to 25%.

Overall I'm very happy with the battery life, but there seems to be an issue with the Need for Speed, SIMS and Monopoly game having an effect. Perhaps not closing properly when exiting, running in the background or something?

Once I uninstall these games the phone works perfectly.

But I do like playing monopoly

Anyway, anybody else got similar issues? Dying to know if it's just my phone or a problem with the phone OS or a problem with the game or whatever the problem is?

Be nice to get a fix?

Bit disappointing seen as the games were advertised from Palm and through the App Store, yet it doesn't seem to be tested very well at all?

I've been onto Palm Pre Support via their Chat, very helpful service. They reckon it's a Third Party App problem, so I'm going to uninstall the game and then get the battery to 25ish percent and time how long it takes to drain during normal usage. Hopefully that will let them know if the phone is faulty or not?

And I've sent an email to EA Support regarding the Monopoly game on the Palm Pre and hopefully they respond and perhaps that will give more insight.

Interesting. . . do report back with your conclusions if you come to any. I have monopoly and NFS installed too - though haven't used them much so maybe haven't noticed the faster battery draining. . .

Would you mind testing it please? Perhaps when you're near your charger and have the time. Play monopoly for a game or two without it plugged in. Then exit the game. Check your battery periodically and see what happens?

If anyone else can do the same it would be appreciated. Be interested in seeing the results. I have not heard back from EA yet? I don't know if I will... but if I do I'll post back.
