Hi Mushgroom, if the mms were working with your sim in another handset I would recommend returning your handset to the store you purchased it in as this is a fault in the handset.

I have had my internet turned on my phone for the since 10pm on 12th July, but my phone is still not receiving mms messages!!!

I am now receiving the following message when I try to send a picture message:-

Currently unable to send your message.  Your picture will be sent when this service becomes available.

Hi susie, just had a look at your account and you are fully set up for mms.

Have all the settings in the handset been checked? Have you tried your sim in another handset?

yes all my settings have been checked previously with one of your colleagues.

i will go down to carphone warehouse (where i bought the phone) at lunch time and ask them to check if i can send and receive mms messages in another phone.

I was in the Carphone Warehouse shop yesterday, they finally changed my sim card because all the settings on my phone were correct, they also tried to send and received in other phones, some worked some didnt,. On leaving, my phone appeared to be both sending and receiving mms messages.

So now today I have been able to send pics, but I'm back to not being able to receive them!! PLEASE HELP!!!

I just wanted to say that I also had these problems with the Galaxy mini, I was told it was a faulty handset after spending hours in the shop, so I was given a new handset. The technician in the shop then checked if the new one worked and it was the exact same problem. This is an issue with the mini's and the shop I dealt with are sending in a complaint to samsung about the issue, and I'm going to do the same.

sorry that i'm only getting back now. I went into the shop but was told to just e-mail samsung in general, the e-mail for customer services is on their webpage. So I went to their website and there is a form to fill in. have a friend with exact same phone and same problem, spent all day ringing 02, sending setttings never got the accept message, checked settings as per android  etc downloaded new software still hopeless.

is this phone rubbish?

did anyone above find a solution for the problem ie fix it not bin phone?

Hi

If it is still not working, it could be a sim card issue or a handset issue. Can you ask them to try there sim in another phone to test this.
