Hi there,

I have been using the same sim card with O2 for over 8 years now. I am originally from Germany, but living in Ireland. I haev never had any problems sending texts to German phones until last Saturday. I can ring German numbers and I can send texts to Irish numbers and it also let me send texts to German numbers, I get charged for it and it shows me the message got sent, but it never got through to the person I sent it to. Does anyone have an idea why this is? As i said ti was working fine untillast Saturday!

What network are they on in Germany?Have they there phone turned on?Have they full signal?

Hi there,

well the company my german friends are with is called eplus, but that is a German company which would not exist in Ireland. Their phones are working fine, they are switched on and I can receive message from them, but they do not receive my ones...

O2 don't have a text agreement with ePlus so there is no guarantee that texts will be delivered or received

OK, but why has it been working for the last couple of years then and from one day to the other it doesnt?! its weird ;-) but anyways, thanks a mil for ur help and nooo i wasnt goin toask if u work for O2...lol xxx
