It's hardly a new idea - I.ve suggested it before - why not put a message under Announcements on Forum when there is a problem with Email Server- which is not an infrequent occurrence. Acknowledge the problem and , if possible, give estimated time for restoration of service.This would save subscribers a lot of time and trouble.

 Help Phoneline staff should also be  made aware of such problems.

Information was circulated to phone staff and the centre in relation to this issue today. Unfortunately we don't have an estimated timeframe for resolution at the moment but we will keep you updated.

Thanks for reply - but it doesn't address my suggestion re. Forum Announcements (There are Email problems again today) - why not a general announcement on the Forum to save all those individual postings.
