I lost my sim card last week. Thankfully, I had just arrived in Oz when it happened and was using an Australian sim. I won't be home any time soon though, so I need some kind of replacement (while hopefully keeping the old number), as I want to use it to text Irish people and keep in touch. Here are some options I was hoping would be viable. Maybe you could tell me if any of them could be done.
I have another o2 sim that I brought with me that I used for my mobile broadband. If I tell you the number on this sim is there any way you could port my number to that sim?
Alternatively, could you set my other sim up so that it can receive texts and make phone calls (it cannot at the moment). Let me know if you need the number of my other sim card to do this.
If the latter was doable, I would also need to get a replacement sim sent to replace my lost one with my original number.
Please let me know if these or any other alternatives are doable and what you need from me to do them.

Thanks for the advice. I will wait for a replacement sim.
I am still having trouble PM'ing you Lisa. Any advice on another way I could send you my address? I could webtext it to you if you give me a phone number to send it to.
