I'm not happy you didn't include links on how to run it on a Mac![]()
Saw it earlier alright it looks good. I convinced a friend to try the Netbook version on his old windows laptop over the weekend. He was very skeptical at first but he gave in and tried it. Talked to him yesterday and he loves it. Still finding his feet with it but he was asking me how to would go about partitioning the hard drive to install it permanently so he must be convinced!

I haven't been overly impressed with what I've seen of the Chrome OS to tell you the truth. You can't help feeling that it doesn't have the full attention of Google and it's just another experiment that they might scrap in six months.
Had Ubuntu installed on an old laptop before and loved it but, slagging aside, since I moved to Mac's I haven't used it. That's definitely not to say I won't in the future though. I'm just happy to have one working computer that the kids haven't wrecked
(whatever the OS!)

I may dust off the text books on Objective C and Java so!
Yea I won't be able to resist trying it out but you are right about Google. They are just short of telling me what to have for breakfast at the moment!

Good stuff Ruth, bit of variety! There's a link to a step by step in original thread that we posted in before about this. Nice bit of satisfaction when you try something like this for the first time and get it up and running!
