a company called M&E supplies Lucan sell snow chains also snow shoe grips etc Ph 01 6283888,I tried the socks and not worth cursing at. I found they went to shreds in no time, never again.i dont live in Dublin but for a small charge they sent them to me by courierSafe driving,Hugh
I need to bring my precious (iPhone!) for a spin in the car! Trouble is I've a mile of minor road that's downhill all the way to negotiate before reaching the main road. Our road is covered in compacted snow and ice so not great for someone who only has a two wheel drive car! So I need a solution! So snow chains, cables, socks or?..... Has anyone any experience of using any of them? Any tips?.....
Of course what I want, what I really really want is a land rover defender.. But that's not likely to be happening unless o2 have a comp with it as a prize and I win it!

So their use is illegal then? Think that's what I might have said above Everyone that got snow socks in work last year said they were a complete rip off, not sure what I'll do this year, rear wheel drive car now!
