Reset threads read

Why, if I haven't logged onto the forum for a couple of days, do the threads I have previously read get reset as unread...really annoying:smileysad:

Re: Reset threads read

Not quite a screen shot, but I hope it works!!

For example...under  General Questions>Forum News I have read most of the threads (or they have been marked as read in the past) but Posts/New is 4643/4643

It always resets like this if I haven't logged on for a while, and I mean a matter of days, maybe a week...it's not like I haven't been round for months!!

Re: Reset threads read

I don't think I'm explaining myself very well!! If I haven't logged on for about a week ALL threads are marked as unread, not just new ones (or threads with new post since the last time I logged on) Whereas if I log on tomorrow the threads I have read today will be marked as read (unless there are new posts in the meantime)

It's no big deal, it is just something about the forum that bothers the pedant in me:smileyhappy:
