Hi all i was just wondering if someone with a better understanding of how the O2 Modems and Broadband works could help me with a problem i seem to be having.
At the moment when i open the O2 program and i look at the Red and green arrow's (which i'm assuming is the upload and download speeds) i see the download speeds reading at 2Mps that's all fine and well except for the fact that i'm trying to install a minor update for a game (36mb) and my download speed is about 70kpbs with absolutely nothing else chewing through the bandwitdh. I think i may have a wrong understanding about how the download speed on the program and the one i'm seeing on are connected but just incase i am right i would like to know if there is a reason that it's this slow.
This isn't the first time its happened either, it has happened over 3 different brand of modems where it says different things on both the program and the thing that is actually updating or downloading.

Actually i do get a 3g signal here pretty much all the time and the broadband works amazingly well for everything else, Loads videos quite quickly, decent ping in games and through skype and such but it's just the downloading, that is the only problem
