I have had the sierea wireless 888 modem for a few years now and up to this have had no issues, however the last few weeks it has started to lose signal and start searching, I switched it to auto/2G etc in the settings but nothing happens. I reinstalled the drivers but that didn’t help either, right now I unplug it and plug it back into the computer and then it regains a full signal but that can last either 5 mins sometimes to an hour other times before it loses the signal again. It also has started to auto disconnect and will not reconnect for a few hours along with it telling me the sim card is not inserted every so often. I have tried the modem on two computers with the same results. I would appreciate if this issue could be addressed. Thank you.
