O2 Hotshot

Hello, I got an o2 hotshot the other day, works great but sometimes the signal drops down to 2G on me, I found the tab on the hotshot's page to change this but I have to disconnect first in order to change from WCDMA Preferred to ''Only''...my question is how do I disconnect the modem from the internet (assuming it's the same process as with a dongle) and change the settings? Everytime I hit the connect button on the modem it does nothing, nor does a long press.

I got this off a friend and simply put my sim in so I don't have the manual.

And an unrelated Question I'm hoping someone can answer, have you recently(in the last 2 months) upgraded the hotshots to a newer model? I ask because in the last week of December I went into a store to price a hotshot, they said 60. I went in again on the first week of January and they said they had no ''old'' hotshots left and a newer miodel came out and it was 100....pretty damn annoying if I'm honest. The reason I ask is no amount of googling gave me an answer and it isn't the first time this particular store has lied to me or given me downright silly information..

Re: O2 Hotshot

Hi Joe

Yes a new model is out the E353.

Regarding your original question you are trying to disconnect the Hotshot? On the O2 connection manager, this should be on your desktop click disconnect there/connect.
