Hi, I signed up for the O2 broadband internet (9.99/month) about a year ago...my contract was set to be finished by December 2011 but you guys are still charging me up to February 2012....what is going on? Ever since you guys charged me 300.00 EURO for exceeding the limit (a phone call would have been nice or you guys could have had the decency to inactivate my account at least when I reached the 100 euro mark) I haven't been using this since and have switched over to UPC with their much cheaper, and faster internet.

However...I'm still obliged to finish the contract with O2 and have been paying...but I'm not happy you're still charging me even though my contract is done. What is going on??? Please respond asap. Thanks.

Did you send us a letter or an email in December to request to cancel it when the contract ended?

Yes it would have been nice if the customer agent had told me that, that letter would have been flying in last year because i want nothing to do with this company and have been warning others to stay clear of O2 broadband and will most likely continue to do so after this.

Hi, about a month ago, I was told there was no verbal record of myself asking for cancellation of the contract (which I find very concerning as I made it VERY clear I would only remain with O2 until the end of the signed contract after the 300 euro fiasco).....however a partial refund would be issued as a "good will measure". I was told the refund would take place within 2 weeks but it is already nearly a month, and when I checked my bank statement I received credit for a measly 2.57 EURO dated Feb 24, 2012 from Telefonica Ireland, O2. Just to be clear, was this measly 2.57 EURO the partial refund you were referring to? Is this all you will be refunding me. Thank You, Signed, Very unsatisfied O2 customer

I have taken a look at the account for you.

The balance on the account was €7.59. Sheena gave you a credit of €8.26. The Final bill as yet to be sent out.

Number 1: Where did the balance of 7.59 come from? This is a monthly direct debit taken from my bank every month and you have charged me until February so where did this additional charge of 7.59 come from? Number 2: Also according to my bank statement O2 has refunded me about 2 euros dated February 24, 2010, not even the credit of 8.26 euro which you are claiming. What is going on here???? Number 3: Also just to be clear, you guys have canceled my O2 contract till the end of February this time around as been mentioned on this forum....am I right? Or was I misinformed again and is my contract ongoing so I should expect another monthly charge for March. This wouldn't surprise me at all considering my horrendous experience with this O2 company.

The €7.59 was from the 11/01/2012 when the billing period starts until the account was cancelled on the 03/02/2012.

Then what are these other charges for: Dec 6 2011- 9.99 by direct debit, Dec 30 2011 - 9.99 by direct debit (I was told for January in consideration of the holidays therefore charged twice for Dec), Feb 2, 2012 - 10.16 by direct debit. All of these were taken from my account.

Also, I love how my other questions are deliberately being avoided....as in why was I only refunded 2 Euro. Also, I was told in writing, "The final bill is due to be posted to you tomorrow" by O2_ContactMods on Feb 20, but on Feb 27 O2_Daryll tells me..."The Final bill as yet to be sent out." I should file a complaint against this company.

Your bill of €9.99 dated 16th of November was debited from your bank account on the 6th of December. Your bill of €9.99 dated the 14th of December was debited from your bank account on the 30th of December.

The refund was for €2 as the €2 is for the days you paid in advance that it was not used which was from the 03/02/2012 when it was cancelled to the 10/02/2012 which is the billing cycle date

If you would like, I can have itemised bills posted to you for each month so youi can see the dates if that would help
