Hi, I signed up for the O2 broadband internet (9.99/month) about a year ago...my contract was set to be finished by December 2011 but you guys are still charging me up to February 2012....what is going on? Ever since you guys charged me 300.00 EURO for exceeding the limit (a phone call would have been nice or you guys could have had the decency to inactivate my account at least when I reached the 100 euro mark) I haven't been using this since and have switched over to UPC with their much cheaper, and faster internet.
However...I'm still obliged to finish the contract with O2 and have been paying...but I'm not happy you're still charging me even though my contract is done. What is going on??? Please respond asap. Thanks.

Hi,
Did you send us a letter or an email in December to request to cancel it when the contract ended?
Can you pm me the mobile or account number of the broadband and I can check it for you.

I haven't received the pm yet. We don't have a number you can text to cancel. It would have to be sent by letter or email or a post here on the forum.

Yes it would have been nice if the customer agent had told me that, that letter would have been flying in last year because i want nothing to do with this company and have been warning others to stay clear of O2 broadband and will most likely continue to do so after this.

The €7.59 was from the 11/01/2012 when the billing period starts until the account was cancelled on the 03/02/2012.

Your bill of €9.99 dated 16th of November was debited from your bank account on the 6th of December. Your bill of €9.99 dated the 14th of December was debited from your bank account on the 30th of December.
The refund was for €2 as the €2 is for the days you paid in advance that it was not used which was from the 03/02/2012 when it was cancelled to the 10/02/2012 which is the billing cycle date
If you would like, I can have itemised bills posted to you for each month so youi can see the dates if that would help
