Silver upgrade forcing price plan change

Hi there,

I currently have the iPhone 4 on the O2 Advance 350 & 2GB Data plan. I am looking to use my silver upgrade on the Samsung Galaxy S II on the online store. However I am presented with new plans and cannot choose to keep my current one. I would like to replicate the plan I currently have but don't see a way of doing it through the store.

I was reading another post here that said that for an extra 15 euro a month you can get a 5GB Data add on with the All in 250. So that would total to 55.65 a month with 250 calls and texts and 5 GB of data, would this work? If so, how do I do that through the store?

Thanks

Re: Silver upgrade forcing price plan change

Thanks! That's good too know! Just out of curiosity, does anyone know if the above setup (all In 250 + 5gb add on) is possible at 55 a month?

Re: Silver upgrade forcing price plan change

HI, if you go for the All in 250 on an 18 month contract and add 5GB this would cost 55.89 per month.

Re: Silver upgrade forcing price plan change

That's great, thanks! I decided to go with that plan for the sake of the extra data. I didn't see the option to add the data though when placing the order, could you point me to to where i can add it to my plan? Thanks again.

Hi,

It appears as though my plan has changed over. Could you add the extra data to my plan now please?

Thanks!

Re: Silver upgrade forcing price plan change

Hi,

I was able to see my new data total on the iPhone, but when I switched to the Galaxy S2 the 'My O2' app isn't showing my data. And using *111# is telling me I have 0 MB left? Could you confirm that everything is ok with my account and why I can't see the data in the 'My O2' app?

Thanks.

Re: Silver upgrade forcing price plan change

When the change was made, the data allowance expired yesterday. I will add on an allowance for you now.

How much data do you need, we have 150mb, 700mb, 2gb or 5gb add ons available with your price plan

Re: Silver upgrade forcing price plan change

Well I'm supposed to get 150MB with the plan and I requested 5gb on top for a total of 55 a month. Why did that disappear altogether? Will I be charged for the data usage between my request and yesterday?

Re: Silver upgrade forcing price plan change

I checked the acocunt and there is no data charges incurred, if any show up later for todays usage, I will of course credit it back, the system removed the add ons as you cannot have both the 150mb and the 5gb shared data, I can add 5gb on it's own to the plan if you want?

Re: Silver upgrade forcing price plan change

Yeah, that's perfect thanks. So in future I will have 5GB data a month with my plan for a total of 55 euro? Sorry to be going on like a broken record, just want to make sure :smileyhappy:

Re: Silver upgrade forcing price plan change

Yes going forward you have 5gb of data per month to use, if after a few months, you are not using this amount and would like to lower it to the 2gb just let us know
